VeeV may be “The World’s First Acai Spirit” but the story of entrepreneurs Courtney and Carter Reum creating this 60 proof liqueur is an incredible inspiration. Acai is a Brazillian fruit known for its antioxidants and health benefits. The Reum brothers quit their banking jobs in 2006 after tasting and learning more about the acai fruit on a surfing trip. Acai contains 57% more antioxidants than pomegranates or blueberries, and 30 times more heart-healthy anthocyanin than red wine.

Courtney and Carter started VeeV when they decided to handcraft a micro flavored liqueur by fusing the acai fruit with 100% all-natural ingredients. The company donates $1 per bottle to Sambazon’s Sustainable Acai Project. VeeV is distilled in Idaho by Distilled Resources Inc. which is the only distillery in America to get their power through renewable wind energy.
