Atlantico Private Cask
Atlantico Rum is a small batch, handcrafted aged dark micro rum. It’s the kind of micro liquor that you want to take to the beach rather than a fine wine. The website has the most relaxing drinking music–it makes you want to pour Atlantico Rum over the rocks, sip with friends and loved ones, and appreciate the best in life.
This rum is hand selected by the founders of Atlantico Rum in the Dominican Republic. It is distilled from sugar cane juice, syrup, and molasses. Once the rum is blended to their perfection, they age it another 1 to 2 years to a “mellower, more complex Rum” in small bourbon private cask barrels. Finally Atlantico Rum goes through a third aging, 15 to 25 years, in wooden barrels using the solera method gives consistant high quality.
Entrepreneurs Aleco Azqueta and Brandon Lieb hand bottle and hand sign off with their initials on each bottle. The gorgeous glass bottle is made in Italy and the cork is made in Portugal. Checkout the Atlantico Rum website for enough recipes (eighteen) to make it barely legal.
Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum, Atlantico is the better Rum, and Atlantico Rum really puts the mass-produced Bacardi name to shame. Atlantico Importing Company is based in Coral Gables, Florida.
This video is cool, the music is catchy (even if you don’t understand Espanol), and gives you an idea of how much TLC is involved with making this product:
